6pm- 7pm
THINGS YOU NEVER DARE TO ASK ABOUT MEDICINAL MUSHROOMS with ATTILA
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about medicinal mushrooms. Attila will introduce 12 medicinal mushrooms, not only their pharmacological descriptions from Traditional Chinese Medicine sources, but their applications as home remedies, including a few food recipes translated from Chinese.
7pm - 10pm
Koji presentation and food demonstration, chill by the fire at night and to get to know each other.
DAY 2, Saturday, 26th September 2026:
11am- 12 noon
TREE ID SEMINAR with Lisa from Edulis Wild Food.
Knowing key tree species is a valuable skill for fungi ID, and it's often something that mushroom nuts overlook in their quest for further mycological knowledge. We'll go over useful tree species to recognise and examples of fungi they partner with, how to tell apart some of the conifers and broadleaf trees commonly found in Scotland, and to get to know our amazing arboreal neighbours a bit better.
12noon- 12.30pm
Lunch break. Please bring your own food and refreshments.
12.30pm- 3.30pm
FORAGING WALK with ATTILA
3.30pm- 4.00pm refreshments break

We cannot promise that the food used for the demonstration is not going to contain any allergens, however we will try to do our best for the food we share to be suitable for everyone.
