The idea for Mushroom Retreat came after 3 succesful foraging events, one in 2021 and 2 in 2022 in Private Woodland at Kirkmichael, Perthshire.
Few years ago we were fortunate to stay at friend's loch cabin in local area, we did small walks around local woods and were amazed with fungi species we have found.
We are honoured to be able to connect with wonderful woodland owner from Kirkmichael who gave us permission to run foraging walks in his woods in 2021 and 2022.
The area has stunning views and peaceful energy where you can recharge your batteries and discover many fungi species that cannot be found elswhere.
The event is designed to bring us closer to magnificent world of Fungi, learn about diversity of mushrooms and their role for us and for the Nature. You will not only learn about edible and toxic species. Mario will share with you how to make mushroom extracts to support your health and wellbeing.
